Types of Data Processed and Purpose of Data Processing
Browsing Data
The information systems and software procedures relied upon to operate our Site acquire personal data as part of their standard functioning; the transmission of such data is an inherent feature of Internet communication protocols.
Browsing Data includes:
- internet protocol address (IP);
- type of browser and device parameters used to connect to the Site;
- name of the internet service provider (ISP);
- date and time of access;
- visitor’s web page origin (referral) and exit;
- some times the number of clicks;
- the size of the file obtained in response;
- the numerical code indicating the state of the reply given by the server (sent, error, etc.);
- other parameters relating to your operating system and information environment.
Browsing Data is processed automatically, collected exclusively in an aggregated form in order to verify the correct functioning of the Site and/or for security reasons and will be treated according to the legitimate interests of the relevant owner.
These data are necessary to use web-based services and are also processed in order to:
- extract statistical information on service usage (most visited pages, visitors by time/date, geographical areas of origin, etc.);
- check functioning of the services; and
- to ensure the security (spam filters, firewalls, virus detection); in such case, the automatically recorded data may possibly also include personal data such as your IP address, which could be used, in accordance with applicable laws, in order to block attempts to damage the Site or to cause damage to other users, or to avoid harmful activities or constituting a crime. These data will never be used for identification and/or profiling purposes, but only for protecting the Site and its users and will be treated according to the legitimate interests of the relevant owner.
Browsing Data are kept for no longer than seven days (except where judicial authorities need such data for establishing the commission of criminal offences).
Data communicated by You
Sending messages and electronic mail, on the basis of your free, voluntary, explicit choice, to our contact addresses, requesting information and/or filling in and sending us forms, entail the acquisition of your contact information – which is necessary for a reply to any request – as well as of any and all the personal data communicated in that manner.
Cookies and other Tracking Devices
We do not use cookies for profiling purposes, nor do we use other tracking devices, nor do we use cookies to transmit personal data.
We indeed use technical cookies and similarly grouped cookies, such as: browsing or session cookies; analytics cookies, to collect aggregate information on the number of visitors and the pattern of visits to the Site; functional cookies (non-persistent) exclusively to the extent this is necessary to enable secure, efficient browsing. Storage of session cookies in terminal equipment or browsers is under your control, whilst cookie-related information is stored server-side after HTTP sessions in the service logs for no longer than seven days like all other Browsing Data.
Data Processing Method and Duration of the Treatment
We may process your personal data either in paper format or by automated means for the sole purpose of achieving the objectives for which said data has been collected and, in any event, in such a way as to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data.
Your personal data will be processed and stored only for the time necessary to carry out the purposes for which they were collected and in accordance with the storage times provided for by the applicable regulations or until you revoke the consent given for the treatments, where required. Subsequently, personal data will be automatically deleted or anonymized permanently.
Transfer of data to non-EU Countries
We may share some of the data collected with services located outside the European Union area. In particular, with Google, Facebook and Microsoft (LinkedIn) through social plugins and the Google Analytics service. The transfer is authorized on the basis of specific decisions of the European Union and the Italian DPA, in particular the decision 1250/2016 (Privacy Shield – here the information page of the Italian DPA), for which no further consent is required. The companies mentioned above guarantee their adherence to the Privacy Shield.
Your Rights
You are always entitled to exercise your rights under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR; in particular, you have the right to obtain access to your personal data as well as rectification or erasure of such data or the restriction of the processing concerning them, and to object to the processing. Moreover, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian DPA or else to bring a judicial proceeding against the Italian DPA.
